Professional Home Teeth Whitening
Your sofa. Your favourite movie. Your whitening routine.
Our home whitening kits let you brighten your smile at a time that suits you, with custom-made trays and guidance from your dentist.
We start with a dental assessment and impressions of your teeth to create trays that fit comfortably. You’ll receive whitening gel and clear instructions on how much to use and how long to wear your trays.
Your smile brightens gradually over the prescribed course. We’ll guide you on managing sensitivity and maintaining your results, including when a top-up may be appropriate.
We assess your teeth and gums, discuss your ideal shade and check whether whitening is suitable for you.
Your gums are protected and whitening gel is applied, with your dental professional monitoring the treatment throughout.
We review your results and explain your aftercare, including advice on managing any sensitivity.
An optional home whitening kit with custom-made trays can complement your treatment, with instructions tailored to your smile.

Professional teeth whitening is generally safe when prescribed by a dentist and used as directed. At Phoenix Medical Clinic, we start by checking your teeth and gums to make sure treatment is suitable for you.
We’ll explain how to use your whitening products correctly and discuss possible side effects, including temporary sensitivity or gum irritation, so you know what to expect.
Whitening lightens natural teeth. Crowns, veneers and fillings won’t change colour, so your dentist will assess how these could affect the overall result before you begin.
Temporary sensitivity can occur during or after whitening. Tell us if you already have sensitive teeth so we can discuss a suitable approach. Contact your dental team if any discomfort bothers you.
Whitening isn’t permanent, and results vary. Your habits and ongoing care affect how long the colour lasts. We’ll explain how to maintain your smile and whether dentist-guided top-ups may be appropriate.
The order matters. Decay, infection and gum problems need to be addressed before whitening, so necessary treatment—including root canal treatment—shouldn’t be delayed.
However, if you’re planning tooth-coloured fillings, crowns or veneers for visible teeth, your dentist may recommend completing the final restorations after whitening. Whitening lightens natural teeth but won’t change the colour of these restorations. Doing them afterwards allows their shade to be matched to your brighter smile.
We’ll plan the sequence with you, allowing time for your tooth colour to settle before choosing the final shade.
